Celebrating a winning partnership
Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Transform Awards Europe, after being shortlisted for our work with St Austell Brewery. We’re proud to have taken home 5 Bronze awards…not that we’re counting (but we are a bit!).

A moment we’re proud to share because itc elebrates more than a new look. It celebrates a long-term partnership, a bold belief in the future, and a brand built to move across brewery, hospitality and retail with confidence.
The categories we were recognised in were
- Best Brand Evolution (Corporate)
- Best Visual Identity from the Hospitality Sector
- Best Visual Identity from the Food & Beverage Sector
- Best Creative Strategy (Corporate)
- Best Creative Strategy (Consumer)
You can see the winners page here: Transform Awards Europe – The winners.

A full brand refresh rooted in heritage, designed for what's next
St Austell Brewery has 170+ years of history and the challenge was clear: how do you honour that heritage without being trapped by it?
Together, we moved beyond a visual refresh to help reposition the business around a simple, powerful North Star:
“Brewing Great Experiences for the Generations to Come.”
That idea bridges past and future. It gives the brand permission to feel timeless and current, to be grounded in it’s Cornish roots and be confident in its relevance to new audiences.
What changed (and why it matters)
This work was about building a system: not a logo in isolation, but an identity and brand world that can scale across every touchpoint. We:
- Put the St Austell name front andcentre with a more ownable wordmark
- Evolved the castle asset into a moremeaningful, flexible hallmark
- Built a palette inspired by place and process, coastal blues and warm copper
- Crafted a visual world designed to work acrosspackaging, pubs, digital and internal culture
- Created consistency without losing character, recognisable at distance, premium up close, and built to travel
“Working with Brand Potential on our first major rebrand in over 70 years has been a transformative experience… The feedback from our team, business partners and customers has been overwhelmingly positive, and the rebrand has played a key role in driving engagement and pride across the business.” Laura Plum, Marketing & Communications Director, St Austell Brewery.
